Data controller and applicable law

Otro Viaje is responsible for processing the personal data you share with us through this site. This privacy notice is governed by Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). Data we request

We may request name, email, phone or WhatsApp, selected tour, date, time, number of people, language and operational data related to your booking.

In addition, automatically and through cookies and measurement technologies (such as Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel), we collect browsing data, IP address, device/browser type and pages visited.

Use of information

• Confirm and manage your booking.
• Send confirmation, cancellation or important update emails.
• Contact you by WhatsApp if we need to coordinate the experience.
• Record payments, capacity and internal operations.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Our site uses first-party and third-party cookies to work correctly, understand how you browse it, and measure the performance of our advertising campaigns, including the Meta (Facebook) pixel managed through Google Tag Manager. You can manage, block or delete these cookies at any time from your browser settings; note that disabling them may affect some site features.

Meta (Facebook): measurement and advertising

We share certain information with Meta Platforms, Inc. for measurement and advertising purposes, through the Meta pixel and the Conversions API. When you complete a purchase on our site, we send a "Purchase" event from our server to Meta to measure the effectiveness of our ads. Contact data we send (such as email and phone) is transmitted hashed/encrypted (SHA-256), never in plain text. You can manage how Meta uses your information for advertising from the ad settings of your Facebook or Instagram account.

Payments

Online payments are processed exclusively through Mercado Pago, which acts as an independent payment processor. Mercado Pago directly handles and stores your card and payment method details; Otro Viaje does not store or have access to that information, and only receives confirmation of your payment status.

Who we share data with

We may share the minimum necessary information with guides, internal operations, email tools and Mercado Pago in order to provide the service.
